Texas Creosoting nails are a small group of copper nails dating from 1924 to 1931. From 1924 to 1930 the nails are indented, though the 1929 has an indent and a Hubbard. There are two Hubbards in this set, the 1929 and the 1931. Poles branded with "Black Beauty" was a trade mark of Texas Creosote poles. Texas Creosote had 2 plants, one in Houston, Tx. (built in 1923) and one in Orange, Tx. (built in 1924)
